1. Who handles your information

2. Why we collect it
- To receive your refund application and check your documents.
- To confirm that you are the person applying.
- To pass the tax agent what they need in order to file.
- To tell you how it is going and what the result was.
- To confirm the account the refund will go into.
We do not use it for anything else. If the purpose changes, we will ask you again.
3. What we collect

We do not ask for a Korean resident registration number. Without a basis in statute, it cannot be processed even with consent (PIPA Article 24-2).
4. How long we keep it

Where another law requires a longer period, we follow that period. When the period ends, we delete without delay.
5. Sharing with a third party
The tax filing is done by the tax agent under their own licence. So passing your information to them is 'provision to a third party', and we ask for your consent separately.

We share with no one else, except where a court warrant or a law requires it.

All data is held inside the Republic of Korea. It is not transferred abroad.
7. Your rights
- You can ask to see the information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- You can ask us to delete it.
- You can ask us to stop processing it.
- You can withdraw your consent.
Write to the contact below and we will act within 10 days. If the tax filing has already been made, tax law may prevent deletion; in that case we will tell you why.
8. Deletion
When the period ends or the purpose is gone, we delete. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; paper is shredded.
9. How we keep it safe
- Foreign registration numbers, phone numbers and account numbers are encrypted. Opening the database does not reveal them.
- Staff screens hide them by default, and looking at a full value is recorded.
- Staff must pass two-factor authentication to sign in.
- Who opened what, and when, is recorded — and those records cannot be altered or deleted.
- Document files are held in separate encrypted storage, not on the web server.
- All traffic over the internet is encrypted.
10. Cookies
We leave a small marker in your browser so you can continue an application later. That marker alone does not identify you. We do not track you for advertising.
